 Discovery Tower
Most of the action at Long Island Aquarium takes place
underwater, but some of it occurs high in the air – 100
feet high, to be exact.
The Atlantis Discovery Tower takes 48 passengers 100 feet
in the air for a breathtaking view of Long Island’s
Peconic Bay, Pine Barrens, and East End. This exciting and
educational interactive experience in a slowly revolving
gondola offers an ideal opportunity to appreciate the natural
beauty of Long Island from a different perspective.
The Atlantis Discovery Tower is located along the banks
of the Peconic River. A separate fee applies for this seasonal
experience, which is available from Memorial Day through November.
