Your little one will be delighted to swim with our real, live mermaid, as they navigates the Shark Reef Lagoon, filled with gorgeous tropical fish from all over the world. This is a magical, interactive experience you can’t get anywhere else. But time and space is limited, so reserve your spot today!
Designed for participants of all ages (children must be beyond diaper age, and accompanied by an adult if under 7), Shark Reef Lagoon offers an opportunity to experience the beauty and magic of tropical snorkeling – right on Long Island. We encourage you to wear your bathing suit, but we do have available wet suits should you need one. We will also provide snorkel gear (mask, flippers and mouthpiece) to use if you like (most kids will just wear the mask).

New for 2024:
We know everyone is busy and sometimes you just want to Swim with the Mermaid and call it a day. This year, you can do just that! Purchase Swim with the Mermaid tickets without Aquarium admission and check in behind the aquarium (just past the Treasure Cove Resort Marina office – look for the signs). Your child will participate in the Swim with the Mermaid Adventure, then you can exit without having to purchase aquarium admission. If your child is between 7 and 16 years old (and can swim on their own), one non-paying adult is permitted in the snorkel waiting area while your child swims (children under 7 requires paid parent participation).
When: July 1 through Labor Day • Mondays & Fridays at 11:00am, 12:15pm, 2:00pm & 3:15pm
Ages: Must be beyond diaper age and with a paying adult if under 7 years old.
Price: $52/pp + tax • Aquarium Members Save 10%. There is a 3.5% discount for purchases made in cash.
