Atlantis Explorer Tour Boat
Get ready for an interactive and educational 2 hour adventure aboard the Atlantis Explorer. It’s a fascinating way to discover the ecological wonders of Long Island’s waterways.
The Atlantis Explorer Tour Boat takes you down the Peconic River and into Flanders Bay. Conducted by Aquarium Educators, the adventure offers plenty of opportunity for hands-on exploration while promoting environmental awareness and education about the Peconic Estuary.
The Atlantis Explorer Tour Boat sets sail seasonally (weather permitting) directly behind the Aquarium. You do not need aquarium admission to ride the tour boat, but you do need to check in at the main registers in the aquarium no later than 15 minutes before your sail time.

Schedule:
Memorial Day Weekend (Sat-Mon) at 12:30pm and 3:30pm
Weekends in June at 12:30pm and 3:30pm
Daily July 1 through Labor Day at 12:30pm and 3:30pm
Weekends in September at 12:30pm and 3:30pm
Group Tours (15 or more guests. MUST book in advance): Weekdays in September at 9am and 11:30am
Price:
$40 per person (does NOT include Aquarium Admission), 3 years old and up
$5 per person (2 years old and under)
Please note: The Tour boat will not sail if there are small craft advisories for the Long Island Sound per the US Coast Guard. The Tour Boat will also not sail if we have less than 8 passengers.
