Sleepover with the Sharks

This unforgettable overnight sleepover is the ultimate shark-lover's experience! Discover the truths surrounding these top ocean predators during this activity-filled overnight adventure.
Take part in hands-on activities in our Shark Discovery Lab and crafts station. With an expert guide, take a nocturnal prowl through the Aquarium’s animal care areas, including a visit to the food-prep area to learn how we care for and feed our sharks and rays.
Dare to walk behind-the-scenes, where sharks swim silently just inches from you you. Sleep in the underwater viewing area with the sharks sleeping close by. Before bed, test your shark knowledge with an Aquarium version of Jeopardy, where one lucky winner age 12 and above will win a Shark Dive adventure like no other! In the morning, you'll wake up with the fishes and enjoy a continental breakfast.

Are you Ready to Meet a Penguin?
Penguin Encounter!

Ever wonder what it’s like to be up close to a penguin? Maybe what their feathers feel like? Or even how some are able to live in a climate similar to ours, while others enjoy a much colder climate similar to that of Antarctica? Now you can find out with Penguin Encounter – a once-in-a-lifetime, interactive opportunity to have a close up encounter with an African Penguin and learn how our animal experts care for these playful birds.
The 45-minute program is comprised of a few different elements – first, experience the inner workings of the Penguin Pavilion exhibit, then learn how staff cares for the exhibit’s current residents, and then, meet the Aquarium’s newest arrivals and stars of the Encounter – penguin chicks that haven’t quite moved into the exhibit just yet! Guests will enter Penguin Preschool and see the chicks waddle, swim, even shake their tail feathers. In fact, the penguins will be walking freely among the group, perhaps even allowing guests to touch and pet them. After this unforgettable interaction, photos will be permitted to capture this unique meet-and-greet moment forever.
Price: $50.00, all ages ($45.00 for Aquarium Members)
Note: General Aquarium Admission required and cost is separate. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children under 5 are not permitted.
